Types of Visits

Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

This is a new patient visit. Information is obtained from a new patient or his/her informant in order to arrive at or maintain a diagnosis. The evaluation includes social and biographical information, direct observations, and data from specific psychological tests.

Follow Up Medication Management Visits

This an established patient visit. Current treatment plans and new symptoms will be assessed, Updates on the client’s medical profile will be made; taking into consideration, any newly diagnosed illness, as well as new social information.

Telepsychiatry

Telepsychiatry is the delivery of services through an electronic device. For example, a client is able to view and communicate with a provider through his or her cellphone. Please note that certain criteria has to be met in order to visit your provider remotely.

Referrals

Studies suggest that therapy be aligned with most psychiatric medication management in order to optimize the client’s outcome. As indicated, the said client may be referred to a therapist/psychologist for in-depth therapy and/or a therapeutic process.
